Here are 50 Ways to Manage Stress and feel joy and inner peace…
Simply put, Stress can mess up your hormones. I can speak from experience… I invite you to read My Story. So, now how many of the following symptoms have you experienced?
Fatigue, anxiety, headaches, dizziness, weight gain (or resistance to weight loss), water retention, bloating, cramping, constipation, sleep disturbances, mood changes, irregular periods, loss of periods (amenorrhea), heavy periods, or infertility.
There is a very high chance that your symptoms are stress related and this can have a negative impact on your hormones.
So I want to leave you with a checklist of 50 things you can do if you think Stress is what’s causing your hormone imbalance.
- Learn how to say “No”
- Ask for help
- Get enough sleep (at least 8 hours)
- Walk daily
- Spend quality time with loved ones
- Spend time outdoors
- Learn to meditate
- Try a yoga or tai chi class
- Give up caffeine
- Give up alcohol
- Support the liver with a nutrient-dense diet
- Laugh
- Smile often
- Begin each day on a positive note
- Watch your favorite movie
- Read a good book
- Soak in the tub
- Orgasm
- Breathe deeply and count to 10
- Develop a “Can Do” Attitude
- Treat yourself to a Reiki session
- Listen to soothing music
- Eliminate the clutter
