Herbal Medicine

What is herbal medicine?

Herbal medicine can be used to support the immune system, to balance hormones and regulate physiology, help treat infections, and as tonics to improve and maintain health. The flower, roots, leaves, bark, or oils of a plant may be used in a remedy and therapy may take the form of teas, tinctures, ointments, essential oils, supplements, and foods.

Even herbs can have potential side effects or interactions with conventional medications. Many herbs are also not safe to take during pregnancy, or not safe in the early part of pregnancy but extremely valuable in the third trimester and to assist with labor. I am qualified to recognize these contraindications and will create a personalized protocol for your individual needs.

I am also qualified to indicate Aromatic essential oils, Bach flower essences, Gemmotherapy remedies. Phytotherapy remedies, and Oligosols.
